Smoke Extraction

In addition to toxic and poisonous fumes, workers who work with metal must take necessary precautions with regards to smoke.  Just like the use of a capture arm is a preferable tool for the removal of fumes, it can also be used for extract smoke from the working environment.  Downdraft tables also aid in smoke extraction as the table is equipped with a built in suction and filtration system that traps the smoke and filters it into clean air.  A smoke extractor is necessary in the workplace as toxic fumes and smoke has the potential to cause harm to all in the vicinity, in a second-hand nature.  Capture arms are designed for smoke extraction as they trap fumes, particles and smoke directly at their source before they dissipate into the environment. Once this takes place, the air is filtered, recycled and returned to the workplace as clear, safe air.
