Typhoon WX-6500 Wet Dust Collector
The Typhoon WX-6500 stainless steel wet dust collector provides a solution for the safe collection of combustible metal dust. These wet type dust collectors can also be used in applications too tough or unsuitable for traditional cartridge style dust collectors.
The wet collector continuously and violently intermixes water with the incoming airstream, separating dust using centrifugal force and trapping dust particles into water droplets. The mist eliminator filter prevents water vapor from leaving the exhaust. Finally the dust settles in the bottom of the collector as sludge where it can be cleaned out, separated and the water can be filtered and reused.
Diversitech’s wet collectors provide high efficiency and low maintenance costs since wet collectors do not require costly filter replacement like traditional dust collectors. Many competitive manufacturers offer wet dust collectors in tar or epoxy coated steel construction which is susceptible to rusting and corrosion over time. Hydrogen Vent Fan
Exhaust hazardous hydrogen gas as metals oxidizes in water, the vent fan will safely remove hydrogen gas when the collector is not running.
Sludge Removal Vacuum with Hose & Drum
Easily remove accumulated sludge and debris in a wet collector, the pneumatic vacuum will remove particulate for easy disposable in a 55gal drum. A filter bag traps the sludge so you can pump clean water for reuse back into your collector.
HEPA After-Filter with Frame
High Efficiency Particulate Arrestance (HEPA) filters use ultra-fine glass fibers to capture more than 99.7% of contaminates at 0.3 micros.
