The Problem

Dresser Rand repairs and reconditions turbine assemblies. Dresser Rand approached Diversi-tech for help in setting up new facilities in the USA, Brasil, UK, Indonesia and the Middle East where the work consists of grinding, welding and debburing of special metal alloys. Diversitech visited the facility, reviewed the requirements and set out to find the best solution.

The Solution

Diversi-Tech designed a downdraft that allows for two operators to work at opposite ends of the station. The downdraft is fitted with specific table tops, tool racks, power outlets and pneumatics so as to make the downdraft a workstation.
